The Deserted Island

We have made it to Bergholmen in the Oslo Fjord and are now staying on te deserted island and the weather is very cold. We are here to start the final work on our new project Tales from Sea Journey, so a week on an empty island in the middle of the Oslo Fjord is a good place to start. Even if it is very cold.

We traveled on a boat across the very cold fjord and then moved into the guest house on the island

We went for a walk got a bit lost and took some pictures.

We are alone on a small island in the middle of the fjord, tomorrow it might snow.

Bjorn lives in the other house on the island and is supposed to look after us... at least he has a boat and can take us home if we go crazy. It was just about a year ago that we set out from Le Havre on the sea journey to Guadeloupe.

Kristiansand Festival

We played at the ASSITEJ Festival in Kristiansand in Norway. Everthing Falls Apart and My Life with the Dogs. This is Kjell Getting ready for the show!

The festival gives a prize for the best show each year, in 2005 we won it for our show Past Half Remembered, this year we won it for My Life with the Dogs, which was great, I had a great time playing the show as well.

I have to say that the actual prize is a bit creepy....

Rehearsals in Peterborough

These are some early rehearsal shots - in the wrong order now but we had a lot of fun playing with the stories and costumes in Peterborough. It is quite strange to go to work everyday in a shopping centre....

More Peterborough

These are some more pictures from Tales From the Middle of Town in Peterborough. We have been transforming the former Waterstones book shop into a venue for a site specific show based on stories written by 8-10 year old from the city.

The Heaven Shop - looking beautiful

Peterborough Taking Shape

blog the blog

I showed my blog to the people who I am working with and they are amazed (they are quite old...)
They say they look young - check the pictures and judge for yourselves.
I will try to keep on putting up pictures and thinking of things to say....

More Einstein fun

here are a couple more pictures from todays rehearsals - which were a lot of fun - we played with time and space and electricity. Tomorrow we may split the atom...

Running with Elephants

I went for a run today in the park in Fredriksberg and as usual I ran past the Elephant enclosure at the zoo in the park. The Elephants usually hide in their house but not today - after the heavy rain they were playing in their pond and big crowd was watching them.

A new blog about my work

I have been running a website about my work for a while but keeping it up to date has been a bit of a hassle. After doing some posts on the NIE blog and finding out how easy it is I have decided to start this one and try to put up lots of stuff about my work and how its going. I always keep quite detailed written journals of my work and take lots of photos so I will try to put up some good ones here.
